A major accident was averted in Nawada. Where a school bus fell into a roadside ditch near Rewar turn in Dhamoul police station area of Pakribarawan block of the district. The ditch was also filled with water, luckily no untoward incident occurred. However, many children have been injured due to the bus falling into the ditch. At the same time, all the children have been safely taken out of the bus. The injured children are being treated at the Primary Health Center.
According to the information, the bus was going to drop the school children. There is no news of any casualty in this accident. After the incident, the local police reached the spot and took the children out. At the same time, it is being said that this accident happened due to the negligence of the bus driver. Many school buses are being run by ignoring the rules. After the accident, the bus driver fled. This school bus is said to be of Kerala English School, a private school of Jamui district.
Regarding the incident, Dhamoul police station in-charge Himanshu Kumar Pappu said that after the incident, the police reached the spot and took out all the children safely from the bus. Some children have suffered minor injuries in this incident. All are being treated. The police have taken the bus into their custody. At the same time, the police have arrested the bus driver. The driver is said to be Janam Mallik, son of Alauddin Mallik.
